The Asian Cultural Engagement Center has rescheduled this event for April 6, 2021.
In 1979, a Vietnamese refugee shoots and kills a white crab fisherman at a public dock in Seadrift, TX. Set during the early days of the arrival of Vietnamese refugees in the U.S., "Seadrift" examines the circumstances that led up to the shooting and the violent and dramatic aftermath. "Seadrift also unveils the unexpected consequences that followed and will continue to reverberate today.
Free screening followed by a Q&A with director Tim Tsai.
