In 2010, the women of an unnamed, isolated Mennonite colony discover a shocking secret about the community's men who have controlled their lives and faith. It is revealed that the men have been drugging and assaulting the women and girls at night for many years.

Based on the best-selling novel by Miriam Toews, and nominated for Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay, Women Talking stars Rooney Mara, Claire Foy, Jessie Buckley, Judith Ivey, Ben Whishaw, and Frances McDormand. Written and directed by Sarah Polley.
