Living is the story of Williams (Nighy), a humorless civil servant in 1950s London. Reduced by years of oppressive office routine to a shadow existence, Williams decides at the eleventh hour to make a supreme effort to turn his dull life into something wonderful after receiving a grim diagnosis.
