Living (Open Caption)

When available to The Lyric, the Monday morning matinee and the Tuesday evening show will feature open captions.

Adapted by Nobel Prize winner Kazuo Ishiguro (The Remains of the Day) from Akira Kurosawa’s classic Ikiru and starring Best Actor nominee Bill Nighy (Love Actually, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel).

Living is the story of Williams (Nighy), a humorless civil servant in 1950s London. Reduced by years of oppressive office routine to a shadow existence, Williams decides at the eleventh hour to make a supreme effort to turn his dull life into something wonderful after receiving a grim diagnosis.
