*Daniel Pearl was a Jewish journalist and musician who was kidnapped and murdered in Pakistan in 2002. As he traveled around the world, he was able to connect with people all over through their shared love of music. Each year, we honor his memory by putting on a concert that uses the universal language of music to encourage people of all backgrounds to set aside their differences and come together to work towards a more humane world.
