ABS@VT Presents “Anyadin…” with filmmaker Q&A

Association of Bangladeshi Students at Virginia Tech (ABS@VT) hosts a screening of the award-winning Bangladeshi movie Anyadin... (Day After) at The Lyric Theater in observation of International Mother Language Day (February 21) - a day deeply ingrained in the history of Bangladesh.

The film won the prestigious Harrell award at the 2022 Camden film-festival. The event will also include a live Q/A session with the director online post-screening. The movie is a brilliant docu-fiction that captures the lives of people from all walks of life, traveling on the very last ride of a steamer launch which had been operating in Bangladeshi rivers since the early 1900s.
